My favorite unknown 80’s grunge band is Paw. This is a music video that was included on the original Road Rash game.
How did I come upon Paw? I read a review of Road Rash. This review really pimped the music in the game, mentioning Paw as a good band for fans of Soundgarden to try out. Honestly, who wasn’t a fan of Soundgarden at the time? That weekend I bought Dragline and the rest is history. I still listen to Paw frequently.

I came to Paw that same summer, separately. My cousin DJ’d at Cornell’s radio station and had plenty of promo CDs, including Dragline and Death to Traitors. He dubbed them for me onto tape and the rest is to be continued right now.
Summer of 1995, you and I were in a throng of would-be journalists heading up to journalism camp at the U. You pulled out Dragline and I talked about how much I liked it and we were mutually, genuinely shocked that someone else both knew and enjoyed Paw.
