I know it is early. I know I shouldn’t say this. I know I’m jinxing the team.
But is it just me or does the Twins bullpen look to have a whole lotta swagger this year? It almost seems like the three set-up men are competing against each other to see who will be “The Man” this season. Let’s combine Joe Nathan, Juan Rincon, J.C. Romero, and Jesse Crain into one über-reliever.

I’m not going to deny Romero will probably have a streak of cluelessness and Crain will still experience some young guy jitters. Carry these four into a big game and how much chance does the other team have to come back or, as the season has played out so far, stay ahead over the last four innings?
