Highlights from tonight’s game, which I viewed from the cheap seats:
- First and foremost - no Lee Greenwood
- Twins hit into two more rally killing double plays
- Twins failed to score with bases loaded and nobody out
- Johan gave up one hit, except for the inning he gave up four runs
- Torii and Jacque had really outstanding games, except for their last at bats
- If Radke was pitching he would have been allowed to go out with 100 pitches in the eigth inning of the tie game so he could have an opportunity for a win
- Joe Nathan was lights out
- Twins need another pinch hitter on the bench
- Twins need to release Corky Miller when Morneau comes off the DL
- Hunter is on his way to 40 stolen bases
- Mike Sweeney has to be more frustrating for Royals fans to watch bat than Torii and Jacque are for Twins fans
- There were over 24,000 people at a Wednesday game against arguably the worst team in the AL
- If Johan pitched, $1 dogs were available and a student discount was on every night, the Twins would draw well over three million in attendance
