		<description>Bill Maher's show this past week mentioned the same stuff again.  About the food industry slowly poisoning us.  I think he even mentioned aspartame along with dyes.  Again, anyone have actual research about this stuff?</description>

		<description>Hell yeah, dude!  Nice post.  I hadn't heard of Shapiro's book, but I have seen "Super Size Me."  And while, like you, I saw Spurlock's point about advertising to children, beyond that his assertions and conclusions were tenuous at best.  Looks like he's becoming not much more than a Michael Moore or Ann Coulter.  What it comes down to is that the desire to dominate is a trait shared equally by those on the left and right.  Adam Smith has a quote similar to Mencken's, "I have never known much good done by those who affected to trade for the public good."</description>
