Is this entirely accurate?? Where do our legislature’s salaries and entitlements fall under?? I was looking for that and I’m not sure where it falls under. I’m really curious to see what those bastards fleece from us every year for constantly fucking things up. And what is the 4.4 billion for “foriegn military financing”?? And who’s getting it?? You know whats crazy is, that 399 billion we spend on our military is HALF of what the ENTIRE world spends. That INCLUDES us.
I have heard arguments that the congress members should be paid substantially more money so that they are not basically encouraged to seek out kickbacks from big business lobbies. I’d link, but I don’t exactly remember where I read the argument. It could have been Jonathan Chait, though if that were the case it would probably be less of an argument and more so a statement.
