Several months ago The Kid began mimicking my friend, Nate’s, greeting of “Hey Brother,” frequently used by the Arrested Devlopment character, Byron “Buster” Bluth. Nate feels my voice matches the voice Tony Hale uses when portraying “Buster.” Beautiful.
Every once-in-a-while I will break into one of the Bluth family’s patented chicken dances. This evening The Kid followed suit, not copying me immediately but bringing out her version of the dance about two hours later. I will say she mixed Lindsay Bluth Fünke’s actions with George “Gob” Bluth II’s vocalizations. And her voice spits out more of a “Caw-kee-caw.” I could be disappointed, but I choose to be impressed with her improvisation skills.
Wonderous.

I insist that you make a video recording of yourself doing a chicken dance and post it on this blog. INSIST!
I really need to streamline my life just a little more to enable this. This blog has floundered for long enough. The chicken dance shall be my salvation!
Whereas I’m sure you doing a chicken dance is more than adequately entertaining, I’m more interested in seeing The Kid’s version - I’m sure it’s priceless.
Did you know that Tony Hale played the guy in VW’s “Mr. Roboto” commercial a few years ago? He was the guy rocking out to Styx in his Golf.
Domo.
Yes, I learned that a couple months ago. Most excellent.
